DESCRIPTION:2.3. – 11.5.2024 \n \nWe are very pleased and honored to present the first solo exhibition of photographs by Abbas Kiarostami (1940 – 2016) in Denmark. \nAbbas Kiarostami has been making films for over four decades. He was not only a prominent hallmark of Iranian cinema\, but one of the most important filmmakers in the world. He also received international recognition as a photographer. Important museums such as the Centre Pompidou in Paris or the Museum of Modern Art in New York have been presenting his photographs. \nCombined with some of his poems we will show a fine selection of his delicate works from the series “Rain and Wind” as well as “Snow White”\, kindly made available for us by a private collection in Germany. \nThe exhibition is supported by Ny Carlsberg Fonden. \n \n \nLæs mere på: www.umbrellaexhibitions.info \n  \numbrella\nwest coast exhibitions \nLydumvej 95\n6830 Nørre Nebel\nDanmark
